Skinny Minnie - Weight Loss Moves

How y'all doin with your weight loss efforts? I hope you're keeping it going and persisting, because that's what's going to get results. Trust Me! I know! I'm living proof. In fact, today was the first day that I really started seeing some definition where my collar bones are slowing coming into view. Now I'm not saying I want to be Skinny Minnie with all my bones showing, but I know what I looked like when I was a healthy weight and when things start coming into focus, WOW! It's just such a good feeling.

According to the Wii, I have about 11 more pounds to lose to get to my set goal and I'm really looking forward to it. I don't know if I'll stop there. I'm kind of thinking I'll try to go down 5 more pounds just to be able to move about a bit with the eating and lazy days.

Anyway, it feels good to weigh less. It feels healthy. I feel more positive about my appearance and less self conscious. It's just an all around good feeling and I'm not even where I want to be, LOL! I wonder what that's going to feel like again. Until next time....Happy weight loss!

Things Still Moving in the Right Direction - I Love My Wii Fit!

OK, so the Wii Fit doesn't work for everyone who wants to lose weight. Why? It really depends on how much you use it. If you use it the way you use all of the other things you bought to help you lose weight,then maybe it won't do the job. I mean, if you use it intensely for about a week or maybe even two and then quit and let it collect dust, then forget it! It won't do the trick. It's like the trainer said once when I was trying to figure out a Yoga move and then just got off the Step. She said something like..."Hey, this is not going to work without you."

Perfect! I got right back on and tried again. LOL! So, I'm now down three more pounds! Last weigh in...157. WooHOOOOOOoooooo!!!! I have officially lost 31 lbs and I'm not stopping here. Nope! My ideal weight is 140, but I'll settle for 145. So, that's 12 more pounds...WOW! It doesn't seem so impossible now.

Losing Weight and Loving It!

Today I saw 160 on the scale and I love it. That's one pound away from the 150s. Exercise and a good diet are the keys to my weight loss and I'm so glad to be able to update you in a positive light. Onward and downward, LOL!

Weight Loss Moves Down Down Down, Down Down Down the Road...

162.9 this morning on my scale and the Wii...EXCELLENT! Getting ready to do my 30 minute jog "free run." Last mileage clocked in 30 minutes in Wii miles...5.9 something miles. My legs were so like jelly after all that running. I'm going to go slower today, I think...I'm always trying to beat my last time/mileage. Are you like me thinking that darn Wii mileage clock is a little off because it's moving so much slower than you feel like you're running?

Keepin it Real - Weight Loss Moves

Keeping it real...was 163.7 today...woohoo!!! 150s here I come, except I went to the movies today and saw Blindside...excellent movie by the way. Anyway, while there, i had a pizza slice and lots and lots of popcorn...so not part of my diet plan, but I was feeling so good that I thought...WHAT THE HECK!

Almost There - Weight Loss Moves!

Well, it's a new year and so many people use this time in the year to make resolutions of what they'd like to accomplish in the coming year. I'd say that I'd like to be open about that...resolutions should be ongoing. It's always good to have goals. My goal this year is to continue my weight loss plan to my pre-pregnancy weight of 142. I'm almost there at 164 and doing well. I actually saw 162.7 on the scale this morning, but didn't believe it, so I walked away and then after a few, came back to reweigh and saw an average of 163.8. OK, so I'm almost in the 150s...YAYYYYY for me! Until later.
