So Close and Yet So Far - WeightLossMoves.com

Have you ever been so close and yet so far from a goal. I know what I can do to get there more quickly, but my mind and my body are doing two totally different things when it comes to trying to lose weight. I want to lose ten more pounds before my trip in June, but then there are all these goodies that I keep bringing home for the kids and hubby, goodies like cookies, chocolate, you know.

Well, I bought into a few magazines to rev up my body so it can go in sync with my brain or vice versa. I'm also PMSing, so I know that's why I'm having this crazy increase in my desire to eat everything in my path. I think I'm even overeating healthy food. LOL!

A while back, I'm talking at least six months ago, I took some pictures of me in bra and panties so that I could see my "before" shot. Well, I have slimmed a bit, but not much, let me tell you. I need to go back into that compact flash memory and print out the pictures so I can post them on my refrigerator. I hear visualization is a good encourager to keep moving forward. I don't know though, because I've tried that too.

What's really going on? Discipline. I need more discipline, oh, and I need to start running. The walking thing is good, but it's not good enough. I need more of a challenge. My body does nothing with the walking. Well, maybe it does a little something, but still. It's definitely not happening fast enough. I need to lose more weight!!!
