Body Reactions to Crazy Eating

You know that old saying, "You are what you eat?" Well, I'm in my 30s and the older I get, the more true that statement becomes to me. My husband takes it to a new level when he tells our kids that if they eat too much chicken, they will become a chicken..replace chicken with whatever other food and they have this imagination that runs with the idea of becoming a brocoli/potato chip/french fry/tomato, etc.

Kids really catch on much faster than we adults too. My little girl is now telling everyone about how we don't go to McDonald's anymore because we're going to become chunky. She loves the fries, so talk is cheap, but she did get the point. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that our body does some crazy things when we don't eat right. The more oily the foods are, the more acne I see popping out on my face. Now, I'm not normally a person with an acne issue. That just goes to show you.

Another thing I notice when I don't eat right is how my functions start doing all kinds of crazy things. One day I'll be super regular, stuff coming out like a tube of tooth paste and the next nothing is happening and I'm all stuffed up. Yuck! It feels horrible. So, what's the solution?

You know what to do! Now as Dr. Laura would say, "Go do the right thing!"
