I have two children, a son and a daughter. Not only are their bodies growing, but their mischievous natures are growing too. That is why, just the other day, I decided to get rid of their Step 2 Woodland Climber. We came across this really cool gym by chance as a neighbor was getting ready to throw it out since their kids had outgrown it. Well, now mine have too. It's not only that they've just grown taller, but my son and daughter decided to use it to get up on top of my roof the other day. GASP!!! I was crazed just thinking about what could have happened to them.
Well, in the process of letting this be inherited by my sister and her two children, I broke my sliding glass door handle. It's not like I can't just leave it broken, but it looked really nice the way it was suppose to look. Now it's like it's missing something, which it is. I need to go to one of those handyman stores to see if I can get some discount door hardware, because I don't think I should pay full price for just the handle. I'm not getting the lock and bolts too. How much do you think that would cost? I remember when I use to live in Connecticut that this same thing happened to me and I had to buy the whole lock with handle because Home Depot didn't sell the parts separately. Oh well, we'll see.
The bottom line is that I have finally taken the offending toy apart and now the kids will have to do a lot more growing before they get back on the roof!
