OK, so tomorrow's the day that I planned on weighing in at 165. I had plenty of time to lose five pounds, but haven't been using that time as wisely as I could. For example, yesterday I had two servings of pumpkin pie. I know, I know! It's not anywhere near what I should be eating. However, the effect wasn't horrible since I haven't had meat. I'm still very close to the 165 mark and am looking forward to seeing it someday soon. If I don't see it while on vacation, then I'll just make sure to get there before my father comes in November.
You see, I'm not a failure. I'm doing what I can and not stressing out overmuch about it. I do want to see the numbers I'm looking for, but I know that it will happen eventually. Why? I'm eating relatively well and I'm exercising regularly. I love that my wedding band is now fitting on my ring finger again. That is definitely progress.
